Martha F. Neba-Mbandi - Founder & President
Martha is an ecumenical Christian serving Christ through the Presbyterian Church (PC.USA). She is currently an American citizen, but she
was born and raised in Cameroon. She attended high school, college, and graduate school in England where she obtained a Diploma in
Nursing from the University of London, and a master’s degree in Community Health from the University of Liverpool. Martha returned to
Cameroon and worked there for 21years, first as a nurse/midwife and later as an epidemiologist. During these years Martha also got
married and was mightily blessed with four wonderful sons, Ndeh, Nji, Chiq and Ngu Mbandi. She currently has three lovely grand
children, Lailani. Ajani, and kaiyan Mbandi. In 1994 Martha moved to Pittsburgh, USA and worked in the Behavioral Health Services for
nine years. In 2002 she was called to ministry, subsequently she attended the Greater Works Bible School for 2 years, and latter obtained
a Master of Divinity degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 2007. Currently Martha is a student at the Robert Morris University
where she will obtain a PhD in Instructional Management and Leadership in 2012. Martha plans to return to Cameroon as a missionary to
work for the Emmanuel Christian Academy as soon as she graduates from RMU. Martha loves traveling, and has travelled to many
countries in Europe and Africa, and also to Vietnam, Fiji, and Mexico.
Kimberly - Vice president & Founding Board member
Kimberly R. Merrell is the founder & director of LiVE, International, a theological women’s advocacy organization. She also serves as a
Family Counselor at Light of Life Ministries.
Kimberly has shared the love and hope of Jesus Christ in over 14 countries, spanning 5 continents, touching the lives of thousands. Some
of the places she has ministered include Uganda, Brazil, Kenya, Indonesia, India, Singapore and Puerto Rico. Kimberly earned a Bachelor of
Science from Ohio University and a Master of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. She enjoys traveling, painting, water sports,
and international cuisine. Kimberly, her husband Alton, and son reside in Pittsburgh, PA.
Katelyn - Secretary & Founding Board member.
Katelyn is a graduate of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. She has a passion for mission and has been matched with the World Christian
Discipleship Program which is a mission service program through the World Mission Initiative with the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
It is a year-long monastic mission encounter in Pittsburgh. Included among the seven elements of the program are working in a local
business, volunteering in a local ministry, receiving spiritual direction and a 2-4 week cross cultural mission immersion. Katelyn is
enthusiastic about serving with the John Neba International Ministries board as the board secretary.
Julie Jennings – Board Treasurer
Julie was born and raised in Monroeville, Pittsburgh PA, and graduated from Gateway Sr. High School in 1993. She has a Bachelors
Degree in Rehabilitative Services Education and a Masters degree in Counseling Education. Julie has always had a heart for teaching
children. She has worked as an Educational School Guidance Counselor and has been a Behavior Specialist Consultant since 2006 in a
local agency. Julie is married to Brian who she met at college. Brian and Julie have two beautiful children Jordan and Roman. Julie
and Brian are very thankful to God for the blessings of a wonderful family and look forward to living a life that honors and serves
Him.
